Admissions Overview

The admissions process includes a visit with the Head of School and a tour of the classrooms in session.  For Primary, Elementary and Intermediate students, the admissions process also includes a visit by the child to the appropriate classroom.  Siblings of currently enrolled students, as well as children with previous Montessori background, are given priority.

The Application Form along with a $25 application fee must be submitted before scheduling an interview and tour. When we receive your application, we will contact you to schedule a visit. Parent interviews and observations are held on designated days and will last approximately one hour.

All Primary applicants should be at least age three by the school year for which he or she is applying, although sometimes exceptions are made for younger students. Students must be toilet-trained prior to starting school.

Elementary and Intermediate students only: Teacher recommendations and transcript should be sent directly from the applicant’s current school or teacher.  Forms for requesting this information will be provided at the time of the interview.

No testing is required.  Your child may be invited to spend a day or part thereof in an age appropriate classroom and work with the class.
