“Year Round & All Day” Primary

The “Year Round & All Day” Primary Class

To better serve working parents AND meet the needs of the young Primary child we offer these extensions to our traditional school calendar.

The young Primary child enjoys and needs consistency.   This class provides a Montessori environment before and after the school day as well as over the summer months.

Children in this class experience:

• An enriching, developmentally suitable Montessori environment.
• Continuing with Montessori trained teachers who are especially experienced in understanding the needs of the young child.
• The opportunity to continue with academic work over the summer; not having to shift and adjust to a daycare situation, which is different from their Montessori school experiences.
• In the summer months, the year round program also includes typical camp activities, such as a daily swim time and hikes. The children still benefit from the familiar routines and environment of their Montessori classroom.

Fees for the “Year Round & All Day” Primary Class will also be available in January 2010.
