Join this free nature class for children ages 2–5 and their caregivers.
Calling all young explorers!
Join Butler Montessori’s (in person) Farm & Forest Explorers program and experience farm life and nature through fun, hands-on activities. From harvesting carrots to collecting chicken eggs, each class introduces children to key environmental concepts. Learn and grow while you explore our organic, student-run farm and 22-acre nature-filled campus!

NEW THIS SPRING we have broken the session into two one-hour timeslots to allow for small groups.

Time: Thursdays @ 9:15–10:15 AM and 10:30–11:30 AM
Age: Children ages 2–5 and an accompanying adult. Siblings welcome.
Cost: Free!
How to Sign Up:
Please only sign-up for one week at a time (no multi-week sign-ups please). Each timeslot is limited to 15 families. Please be sure to cancel if you cannot attend, as space is limited and demand is high. No-shows will be unable to sign up in the future. Sign up using this link.
What to Wear:
This event will be held rain or shine, in hot and cold temperatures. We recommend that participants dress appropriately for the weather, including boots for creaking and hiking (if applicable). This is an outdoor class and you and your children may get muddy! Please apply bug spray and sunscreen prior to class start.
Covid-19 Safety Protocol:
Please bring masks and wear them if social distancing is not possible.
