Join this free nature class for children ages 2–5 and their caregivers.
Calling all young explorers!
Join Butler Montessori’s Farm & Forest Explorers program and experience farm life and nature through fun, hands-on activities. From harvesting carrots to collecting chicken eggs, each class introduces children to key environmental concepts. Learn and grow while you explore our organic, student-run farm and 22-acre nature-filled campus!

- April 4, 11, 18, 25
- May 2, 9
Time: Thursdays @ 9:15–10:15 AM and 10:30–11:15 AM
Age: Children ages 2–5 and an accompanying adult. Siblings welcome.
Cost: Free!
How to Sign Up:
Each timeslot is limited to 20 families. Please be sure to cancel if you cannot attend, as space is limited and demand is high. Sign up using this link.
What to Wear:
This event will be held rain or shine, in hot and cold temperatures. We recommend that participants dress appropriately for the weather, including boots for creeking and hiking (if applicable). This is an outdoor class, and you and your children may get muddy! Please apply bug spray and sunscreen prior to class start.
Covid-19 Safety Protocol: Please bring masks and wear them if social distancing is not possible.
